Why adopt?

Pet adoption offers numerous benefits for both animals and humans alike. It's a compassionate choice that positively impacts individuals, families, communities, and contributes to a more humane society.

This is me with my purrrfect lil Angel, great addition to our family!

Successful Adoptions

Karter

Karter

karter was surrendered to  me at my last location 3 months old. Shelter was closing I immediately contacted my cousin Blanca and asked if she’ll be interested on adopting this baby boy . We did a meeting and with no hesitation she immediately said I’ll adopt him. Karter 4 yrs later living his best life.

Bella

Karter

Bella was brought in from the streets of Mount Vernon this lil tiny kitten lost her mom. I contacted Maria the volunteer and asked if she’ll be interested on fostering. she immediately said yes! When spay day came her heart broke she had to bring Bella back . That night she call and said I have to adopt Bella, 4 yrs later Bella is so fat and loves her mom.

Rex

when MVAS was closing its doors My own mother step up to adopt Rex. She came to NY from PA to compete paperwork and pick him up. Four yrs later rex is well and healthy living his spoiled best life.

Cotton

A friend came to support when the doors to MVAS were closing she already had in mind 2 cats she was interested in. Did the application got approved came back the next day with her cat carrier  placed it on the ground cotton walk right inside . Now 4 yrs later she’s so beautiful! Her fur is so long she’s healthy best decision.

Apollo

Apollo was brought in to MVAS by an officer, he was skin and bones and left to die by some irresponsible owners. once Apollo got healthy enough to get neutered, he was then put up for adoption and living his best life on acres of land with a lake.

Luna and Daisy bonded pair sisters

These 2 where brought in as a pair that got trapped at a concentration site. I named them Luna and Daisy one test positive for FIV/FeLV so they couldn't get adopted right away. Once well enough they both got retested and was negative got vaccinated and spayed and off to a happy life together with the perfect dad Tony.
